Loved By Every Client Served +

Each project is different, but the process to execute each and everyone is the same:

The reason we brainstorm is to kick a project into action, it also helps to get everyone on the team involved and in the right frame of mind. It helps us set a project out on the right foot, bringing ideas to life, setting solid targets and goals, creating focus, and building energy.

Here we try to work out what the project actually is (or what the client wants/needs); it’s pointless brainstorming if the basic aims and goals aren’t there, so we question our client to get the needed information. While the project goals and targets may well change and evolve as a result of good brainstorming, we make sure targets are set at the start to give us direction and save us from chaos.

One thing our effective brainstorming sessions have in common is inspiration. As part of our research and pre-brainstorming routine we always find points of inspiration to help stimulate and motivate our team to bring out ideas and let the creativity flow.

Using the information gathered during our brainstormig phase, it is now time for us to put together a plan for the set project. This is the point where a project map is developed.

The project map is a list of all main topic areas of the project, as well as sub-topics, if applicable. This serves as a guide as to what content will be contained on the project, and is essential to developing a consistent, easy to understand navigational system. The end-user of the project – A.k.A your customer/you – must be kept in mind when designing. These are, after all, the people who will be learning about your service or buying your product. A good user interface creates an easy to navigate project, and is the basis for this.

During the planning phase, our team will also help you decide what technologies should be implemented. Elements such as what CMS (Content Management System) such as WordPress or Custom Made CMS to incorporate, will any contact forms be needed, etc. are discussed when planning.

Our designers take the information gathered to create a unique custom website design incorporating what we learned.

Drawing from the information gathered up to this point, it’s time to determine the look and feel of our client's project.

Client's target audience is one of the key factors taken into consideration. A site aimed at teenagers, for example, will look much different than one meant for a financial institution. As part of the design phase, it is also important that we incorporate elements such as the company logo or colors to help strengthen our client's identity.

Our designers will create one or more prototype designs for this project. This is typically a demo of what the final design will look like. Often times we will send an email with the mock-ups for your project, we also takes it a step further by giving our client access to a secure area of our web portal meant for customers to view work in progress. This way we keep our client in sync with activities.

During this phase, communication between us and our client is crucial to ensure that the final project will match our client's needs and taste.

Then development can begin…

The developmental stage is the point where the project itself is created. At this time, our web developers will take all of the individual graphic elements from the prototype and use them to create the actual, functional web project.

This is typically done by first developing the home page, followed by a “shell” for the interior pages. The shell serves as a template for the content pages of your project, as it contains the main navigational structure for the web site. Once the shell has been created, our developers will take your content and distribute it throughout the site, in the appropriate areas.

Elements such as the CMS (content management system) like WordPress or Custom Made CMS, interactive contact forms, or eCommerce shopping carts are implemented and made functional during this phase, as well.

This entire time, our developer should continue to make our in-progress web site available to you for viewing, so that you can suggest any additional changes or corrections you would like to have done.

On the technical front, a successful web site requires an understanding of front-end web development. This involves writing valid HTML / CSS / JavaScript code that complies to current web standards, maximizing functionality, as well as accessibility for as large an audience as possible.

This project is tested in the next phase…

LAUNCH: At this point, our team will attend to the final details and test your project. They will test things such as the complete functionality of forms or other scripts, as well last testing for last minute compatibility issues (viewing differences between different web browsers and smart devices), ensuring that your web site is optimized to be viewed properly in the most recent browser versions.

SUPPORT: Our team is always here to help you with your website updates.

Once we are given the final approval, it is time to deliver the project. Once access is granted to make upload on your host machine, we will make the upload and the project will be put through one last run-through. This is just precautionary, to confirm that all files have been uploaded correctly, and that the site continues to be fully functional.

Other final details include plugin installation (for WordPress or other CMS driven web sites and SEO (Search Engine Optimization). There are a lot of details involved in optimizing your web project for the search engines – this we can not mention here. This is a very important step, because even though you now have a web project, you need to make sure that people can find it!

This marks the official launch of your project, as it is now viewable to as many people as you desire.

The development of your project is not necessarily over, though. One way to bring repeat visitors to your site is to offer new content or products on a regular basis. We will be more than happy to continue working together with you, to update the information on your web site. We also offer maintenance packages at reduced rates, based on how often you anticipate making changes or additions to your web site.
